Race description

The Sørdalskarusellen consists of ten recreational races from April to September, where all happy participants are welcome to join. New for this year is the Tverrløpet, which replaces the Elvaløpet as the final race in the series, starting at Håkons Hall and finishing at the Engesvea ski jumping facility. The virtual part of the race runs from September 9 to 12, while the mass start takes place on Wednesday, September 13 at 18:30. The course follows the Tverrløypa and features an elevation difference of 59 meters.

Highlights

  • The races are intended to be casually enjoyable exercise where you set the standard yourself.
  • Everyone who completes at least 6 races will receive a participant prize, which will be awarded at the prize ceremony at the end of October or the beginning of November.
  • The goal is joy in running, community, and challenge, and the races are organized as a mass start on Wednesdays and virtually from Saturday to Tuesday beforehand.
